JURYING YOUR WORK

Thank you for your interest in being part of ArtisticLicenseFair.com. We are a juried online gallery. And we're always looking for the finest in contemporary fine crafts.

Your work will be reviewed by a panel of expert fine craft artists who look for originality, craftsmanship, customer appeal, and appropriate pricing.

You should receive a response from us within 10 business days.

And if you are accepted, you will receive the simple instructions needed for adding your work to the gallery. [Jury Form]

HOW SELLING WORKS

List an item

Once you've been accepted as an artist in the fair, listing an item is done in just a few simple steps.

We recommend that you've got your photos and description ready before jumping in.

You will be provided a link to submission form. Fill out all of the required information, attach your image, click "Send".

As a subscribing artist, you can list as many items as you would like at no charge, standard commission fees apply to sale.

Photographing Your Work

ArtisticLicenseFair.com wants to exhibit your work to its greatest advantage, and will be sure that it meets our gallery photo standards before showing it. (see Gallery Photo Standards)

While an item is on exhibit in ArtisticLicenseFair.com, it cannot be shown or sold in any other venue.

Set up your own booth

In addition to exhibiting your work within the general fair gallery, every artist in ArtisticLicenseFair.com also has the option to set up their own "booth" (webpage). For a one-time $35 set-up fee, you will have a direct address at ArtisticLicenseFair.com which will be assigned to you.

You can customize your booth by adding a personal photo, bio etc.

Pricing your work

ArtisticLicenseFair.com earns a 25% commission on every item sold. Be sure to price your work accordingly.

Selling an item

When an item sells, both the buyer and artist are sent emails with the transaction details in it.

You, then, (on the same day, if possible) promptly ship the item to the address listed in the transaction email. ArtisticLicenseFair.com wants to maintain its reputation for quick customer service. So, if you can't ship your order on the same day, please do so within at least 5 to 7 business days.

How you get paid

At the end of every month, ArtisticLicenseFair.com will pay you 75% of the retail price of each item sold plus reimburse you for the automatically calculated shipping costs.

Fees

For sellers – there's a $45 subscription fee every quarter. That's works out to $15 per month for a commitment in three-month intervals.

It places your work within the exclusive company of the longstanding, highly respected artists of ArtisticLicenseFair.com and gives your work access to a start-up customer base of nearly 11,000 avid collectors—not to mention the whole world.

All listings stay up for 3 months or until they sell.

Optional Fees

There’s an optional one-time charge of $35 to set up your own booth.
